VCNAA President

Linda Flowers McCullough

After graduating from Voorhees College with a Degree in Elementary Education, Linda Flowers McCullough was employed by the Richmond County Board of Education in 1977. Her work as an educator began teaching reading to students in grades 5-7. In 1985 the family moved to Atlanta, Georgia. While in Atlanta she began to work as an instructor in the Atlanta Public School System and retried after thirty-five years of service McCullough has obtained many degrees.

Although, Flowers-McCullough has retired she continues with APS as a
Substitute Teacher which she truly enjoys. Currently her work is focused in the field of Special Education to increase students’ progress.

McCullough has participated with many Non-Profit Originations and has been the President of the Metro Atlanta Alumni Chapter for Voorhees College for the past five years. In addition, she served as Assistance Secretary of Voorhees College National Alumni Association and has been the Co-chair of the 2019 VCNAA National Convention. Now she’s the president elected of Voorhees College National Alumni Association.

My goal in life is to be a true servant to others in any way necessary to make this world a better place to live.
