Dr. Geneva Levey Fleming, PhD, LISW-CP, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Professor in higher education. She has served as faculty at the Medical University of South Carolina and Trident Technical College in Charleston, the University of South Carolina – College of Social Work in Columbia and Voorhees College in Denmark, South Carolina and California State University in Los Angeles, CA. She has also provided field supervision with the Barbara Solomon School of Social Work at Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA and Limestone College, Gaffney, SC. Her knowledge and expertise encompasses personal, leadership and professional development, diversity issues, family stability, social-emotional competence and strategic management. Dr. G, as she is affectionately known by her students and colleagues, serves as Business Manager for the Voorhees College National Alumni Association (VCNAA) and is Chair of its 2022 National Convention. She also serves as Vice President of GCSCORED, Inc., an international organization and Global Center for School Counseling Outcome Research Evaluation and Development focused on transforming lives and creating safer communities. www.gcscored.org. Her book, Building on a Firm Foundation was released in summer 2019 and is available on Amazon and other major book outlets. Dr. Fleming is adept in building and engaging partnerships, collaboration and maintaining professional relationships. She is experienced in the development of professional certification processes and have worked closely with national and international accrediting agencies to obtain respective credentials.
